Works good for removing makeup. But it dries out my skin too much.

This gets rid of all my makeup!
It makes my skin so soft and I prefer this over my regular cleanser.
I've been using this for a few months and I've not even used 1/3 of it! It lasts a long time and it's definitely worth the try!

This really works well to remove makeup. I don't think it does a very good job at removing waterproof mascara though but I don't have a problem with this since I always remove my eye makeup before washing my face. I used to use foaming gel cleansers to wash my face. I would have to use 2-3 pumps of cleanser just to get the amount of foam that this cleanser dispenses in just one pump! I would have to stand there at the sink trying to lather up the darn cleanser for so long. I thought cream cleansers would solve the problem, but I have found they do not cleanse my skin well enough. This cleanser leaves my skin clean and soft, not tight feeling at all. It's gentle enough to use around the eye area and it lasts a long time because you are not wasting any product trying to get it to lather. I already bought a second bottle of this even though I am not done my first. Get your hands on this stuff, ladies.

This stuff is amazing! I have combination/acne prone skin, and use this cleanser first to remove all the makeup from my face so that the face wash I use next, can then actually penetrate my skin and treat my acne. The cleanser is non irritating, oil free and is just overall amazing.

LOVE, love, love this! i wear waterproof mascara, and this works! I wet my entire face, pump this into my hands, and lightly circle over my eyes. I always apply alot of mascara, so i have to often do a second cleanse over my eyes, but with a little patience... it's all gone! If it is not carried in a drugstore near you, the clean & clear website carries this product. continued >>

Extremely drying my skin. I really don't expect much from this remover but it is way worse than what I expect. Doesn't remove my makeup either for the first round; need to do the second time.

this is the best makeup cleanser ive ever used and i despise using cloths and super greasy oils cuz they always irritate my skin but this stuff is perfectly gentle but the pump can get kind of stuck sometimes but thats okay :)

I'm halfway through my second bottle and this stuff is amazing! It really gets rid of ALL of my makeup. However, the first time I bought this, I'm not sure if it was faulty packaging, but the pump kinda got stuck everytime i pushed it down, so I had to manually push it back up and pump again (pretty tedious and pretty annoying). Also, it can be drying on the skin because it contains ingredients that make the cleanser foamy- but it's those ingredients that can dry out the skin. Just moisterize well after using this. Other than that, it's a great product!

This is one of the best makeup removing cleansers I have ever used. This removes it all without any effort- Im talking foundation (heavy stuff like ELDW, Revlon CS and MAC Studio Fix) mascara, eyeshadow, blush, lipstick etc.... I dampen my face and 3 pumps of this is just the perfect amount to remove all makeup, if you use a little more then your face can feel dry- so there is no need to overdo it. Afterwards I follow with my Clinque Clarifying Toner, and barely have any remnants of makeup left on my cotton towelette. After using this my skin feels fresh and clean, and the packing is super handy. I'm very happy I purchased this :P

I'm on my second bottle. I used to really like this product, but now that I'm the second bottle, I'm realizing that this really dries my skin up. So, instead, I use it as a brush cleaner; works really well. :D
Besides the fact that it doesn't work for my skin, I really like this cleanser. However, I will not be buying this again, even though it is great for my brushes and dirt cheap.

i have dry skin and I wear water proof mascara (usually L'Oreal's Voluminous Carbon Black). This DOES NOT work to remove my mascara... AT ALL! When I try to tug out the mascara with the cleanser on, I pull lots of lashes which is something that doesn't usually happen with my other make up removing cleansers. It's a pretty good cleanser overall (doesn't make me break out), but in terms of make up removing, it doesn't work at all for me. I'm better off using make up remover and this as a cleanser. Oh, and it also stings my eyes. I would not buy again, I'd rather use two separate products.

This is a really effective makeup remover. I use this at nighttime in the shower, and I love how it takes off all traces of my makeup without leaving any type of oily residue like most makeup removers do. It also works very nicely as a stand alone cleanser, since I sometimes just go to sleep without washing my face after using this in the shower, and it makes my face feel really nice and clean. One pump is enough to use on my entire face to remove makeup. I definitely see myself repurchasing this again and again in the future.

Love this product!!! Prior to finding this little purple gem, no matter what type of remover I used, I would always have traces of eye makeup left that would migrate and settle under my lower lash line. I use this product as the second step in my nightly cleansing routine. I first use a Ponds Clean Sweep makeup remover cleansing towelette to remove the "bulk" of my face and eye makeup and then 2-3 pumps of the Clean & Clear makeup dissolving foaming cleanser to remove any leftover residue. The pump dispenser is super convenient, travel-friendly and the oil-free foaming cleanser itself is very rich and creamy. I personally have never had a problem with this cleanser drying out my skin nor has it ever caused any breakouts - it just always makes my face feel deep-down clean. For me, even with daily use, one bottle lasts quite a while. I just purchased my second bottle (about $6 at Target) and will continue to repurchase as long as Johnson & Johnson has this product available.
**EDIT** Well, unfortunately, I think this product is being discontinued. I used to be able to find it very easily at CVS, Walgreens, Target, etc. but recently I have not seen it at any of these stores. I was at my local Meijer yesterday and they still had a few on their shelves, but it has been marked down to closeout/clearance pricing. My only hope is that maybe Johnson & Johnson is repackaging this product and we'll see it again on store shelves in the future. continued >>

For the moment, this is the best makeup remover I've come across. It removes most of the makeup. However, I do find it a bit difficult in removing liquid foundation. I have to use cotton squares right after to rid the makeup residual. The major thing I like about this is that I've noticed incredibly less breakouts.

I use this as a pre-wash before cleansing with a separate product and my Clarisonic, although I have used it on its own after a couple of late nights. :) Smells okay, nothing overpowering, and I feel like it does a good job of breaking up most of my makeup. (I can definitely tell a difference between using this cleanser and a using a makeup wipe by the color of the bristles of my Clarisonic--they're much whiter, if not entirely white after this cleanser.) I will say that if I use heavier eye makeup than my usual everyday style, I like to use an eye makeup remover prior to this so I'm not scrubbing so hard and getting this in my eyes as much. I like the convenience of the pump, but if this gets jostled around too much, as with other foaming products in this type of packaging that I've used, spots of it will leak out into the cap and sometimes make the edges or top rim a bit sticky. I don't feel like it's that much of a waste in product if it happens only occasionally, although it may be something to consider if you travel a lot. I tend to have product ADD, so I'll probably move on after this is finished up, but I would definitely consider repurchasing later on, especially at this price.

idk if it's just my eyes or the mascara i'm using which is loreal's voluminous in water proof. or my strategy on removing my mascara, but after i use this cleanser, my eyes are all red and bloodshot. i cannot open my eyes when using this cleanser bc it burns. it doesn't remove my mascara as well as i need. but then again my mascara is really waterpoof. i like the foam pump. i have combination/ dry skin. oily on the t zone, dry on the cheeks and i think this cleanser makes my cheeks even more dry compared to other cleansers that i use.
